SELECTION CRITERIA

 

Your application will be assessed against the following selection criteria.

  • Artistic calibre (primarily assessed on the basis of examples of previous work and artist CV).
  • Potential for the OPENLab to contribute to your professional development including acquiring skills in cross-artform collaboration and creating work for the public realm.
  • Potential to participate in critical thinking, consultative and collaborative situations.
  • Assessments of applications and decisions are made primarily on the basis of the information supplied by you in your application and accompanying support material.

SUPPORT MATERIAL

Your supporting material should demonstrate past or present work by you, which is relevant to the OPENLab program. Outlined below is the essential supporting material required for this application.

Previous Work

Please provide up to four examples of previous work. These can be for moving image works, still images, sound, text or any other form of online documentation that best supports your proposal.

Please see the FAQS page for information on how best to submit a URL and examples of what digital platforms can be used.

Support material may include up to 3 of the following:

  • Up to 12 digital images, combine in one PDF (total 1MB)
  • Up to 5 minutes of video footage, provide URL link
  • Up to 5 minutes of audio content, provide URL link
  • Text-based material, provide in PDF format

Important Note: Please label each file with your name, title of artwork, and year of creation. If your URL is password protected, please also provide password.
